Save Burma
So... I spoke with many French, 1 Mexican and some others. And it appeared to me that really few know about what happened in September in Burma, sometimes not even knowing about the military junta.
As I am in a severe militancy crisis... As I found it unacceptable than French people know more about the love affairs and surprise parties of our President than about the ethnic cleansing in Kenya or the September crackdown in Burma... So here is a part of our history.
Cause it is a part of our history too. When something happens in our era, the simple fact of being living at the same time involves us in it. Even if the only part many choose to play is to doggedly look away as far as possible, rather than helping some who were born on the wrong side of a border...
One day, knowledge becomes power. I made research and tried to sum up the informations. You have the opportunity to know, you're free to do whatever you can about it now. I just hope we're not going to close our eyes once more...
