Welcome back
This title is for two reasons... One because I haven't written here in ages so it's like "welcome back here dear readers" (or just "welcome" if you never happened to come accross these pages before). And the second reason is that I'm back in France so it's like "welcome back home dear me" :)
I could very well make you bored in 3min by telling you each and evey tiny details of all that happened to me since I left Thailand on Monday evening. But I'll leave that for tomorrow. For now, let's just say that I'm a mixed bag of feeling : excitement, surprise, irritation and incomprehension towards my fellow French people, "floating on a cloud" kind of unconscious happiness, longing for Thailand (yes, already...) and wonder at all this happening for real.
And because I could NOT decently come back here without rushing back to the beach, here are some pictures. I braved the cold and my tiredness. Happy family walk on Boxing Day with my mother and her boyfriend.
European seas are different from Asian seas in that they have seaweeds everywhere.
And far from making it ugly, they give it a "wild and strong" feeling. Well... For the trained and nostalgic eye :)
Well, maybe this is a little too extreme, even for the trained eye ;)
Two lovers share warmth against the freezing breeze
Left behind by the waves...
To see the world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour
-- William Blake --
Christmas walk for everyone in the golden light of the afternoon
Ripples with the tide
Razing light
For those of you who forgot that the sun is a star :)
Up and down, the tide washes the sand

Lying down in the grass, at the top on the dune
On the rocks
Cloud lights
Last lights
And the barnacles set down on the sea for the night...
