Thai Way Guest House

On the 1st table, a Japanese, a Chilean, a French and a Slovenian ^^
This is my home, our GH. People come and go slowly, it's not the rush like in some other places. For 2 weeks, we had this core of 5-6 ppl. What is really cool is that Hiro (my favourite Japanese musician) should still be there when I will be back in CM in late May :)
The rooms are not awesome, there is no hot water and air-con and it's not hyper-clean. But we don't care so much, as long as we are together. The asset of my time there was our community. And you are sure to have Japanese around ^^
Because in the GH, you are doomed to meet other travellers. And I am a little fed up sometimes with the "American campus" feeling that you can find in many GH. At least, when going into Japanese GH, I know I'm in for more cultural exchanges. I mean... English culture is much closer to mine than the Japanese or Korean one...
Nokia (yes), her baby and her husband, the owners of the GH. And then Jerome and Hiro. Jerome is by far the best French I have met on the last 8 months. It makes you feel better about the French people ;) And Hiro... simply adorable, really nice and funny... Love him too. You do find really nice people when you are travelling ^^
Kazuyuki, 37 y/o, always laughing and making weird faces most of the time...
