Couchsurfing...

       Once more, I have to thanks CS (which are not the letters for Counter Strike...) for having made me able to meet awesome people during my trip.

      On Thursday, one "tete d'ours" (Azlan) came to KL and introduced me to his... girlfriend ? Girlfriend... ?? Since when do you have a girlfriend ?!? Anyway, we went to have a drink together and then he abandonned me to go and see some relatives in the neighbourghood of KL. But he also told me that there were a CS meeting that night. CS... Haven't met anyone from KL yet, shame on me. So I texted and arranged to meet Shah at 8pm at a LRT station. No prob, gonna meet many people ^^

        Except that... Shah and I were alone. Er... Hullo... Isn't it supposed to be a Cs meeting ? Meeting like "with many people" ? Well, doesn't matter, Shah doesn't look like he's gonna eat me alive, nor bite me, nor look at me without uttering a word. So let's go ^^ And then, slowly, 4 others CS showed up, last one being Alan at 11.30pm. At that time, I was joking around with Shah, Pika and Vigh like they were old friends that I had met after a long separation.

       Jeudi, Alan est arrive et m'a presente... sa blonde. Une blonde... T'as une blonde, toi ? Je croyais que t'en voulais pas ? Anyway, on est alle boire un coup tous les 3 puis il m'a abandonne pour aller voir ses cousins du cote de Shah Alam, en dehors de KL. Tout en m'indiquant qu'il y avait un rdv CS le soir meme. J'envois donc un sms a l'organisateur, Shah, dont Alan m'a donne le numero. Reponse : rdv a telle station de LRT a 20h. Okay, je connais personne, c'pas grave. T'as quand meme interet a etre la a l'heure, Alan.

      Vigh was...a weird guy. In the positive meaning ^^ He's cheeky and talked all the time while making funny faces with a strange voice, and rolling his eyes at the same time. I just couldn't help laughing most of the time... When I think that I almost met him last november...

       Small video of that night :

         Was at the Lotus, the restaurant - CS meeting point in KL. In front of me is Vigh. Right is Shah and then Alan. Left is Pika and then a girl whose name i totally forgot. Pika shows me some stuff. Er... Apa ini ? Roti tissu (because it's so thin)
         Honestly, the part when Vigh is telling the anecdote and quotes the guy asking "what's your sex fantasy ?" was just hilarious, as all our neighbours must have heard it too. Er... Okay, no problem, let's bear it... ^^;

         What I love in Malaysia is... No need to drink alcohol to have some fun. All the glasses in front of us are teh tarik, lemon juice, milo, water, not one drop of alcohol. So that we can enjoy the jokes better ;) I like it that way. So many people drink alcohol all the time when travelling, I'm getting fed up sometimes of being the only one not indulging in Tiger or Lao Beer, with the others glancing at me with a funny look. At least, here, I don't feel out of place ^^

         Back at the Lotus on Saturday night for the post/pre "Free Hug Campaign" dinner. Where you just sit wherever you can and then discover your neighbours. Zharif ? Nash ? Mo ? Alamak, I cannot remember all the names !
