Kuala Lumpur - again and again

Publié le par Gaelle, Aisyah, Socheata... what else ?

So I had to go back to KL... Not only because I wanted to (come on... only 5 weeks between my two stays there. I'm a KLholic), but mainly because it was near impossible to get my Thai visa in Phnom Penh. They seem to like only Cambodian people over there and, with my not-so-complete bunch of documents, I was sure to be asked "what about this proof ? Don't have it ? Ha... too bad for you"
If not in PP, I had the choice between Ho Chi Minh, Vientiane, Rangoon or KL. And, as a really cool coincidence... the country for which I don't have to pay an entrance fee is also the country where some of my best friends live. So... head on to KL with a 3 days notice ^^ I like it that way, that's funnier to go - take it easy ^^

So, as a result, I got my visa for Thailand. I still find it hard to believe, because I only had a letter from the university, a passport photocopy and a map of chiang mai downloaded from internet on which i had indicated the location of the University. Not much, he ? No income proof, no bank account, no way of leaving the country, no references of the university...
But I managed to get a 3-month non-immigrant visa for business. Just had to wait 1h15 on the 1st day to arrive to the counter, and it was done. Fingers in the nose, as we say in French (yeah, stupid expression ^^).

So, I am happy I came here ^^ But not only for that... I had much time to make a really good friend and discover more some really nice people from over there.

                KL, I miss you -___-
